  • Effectively work with NAM Sales to work on Enterprise, SLED and Federal deals
  • Provide Sr. Leadership with financial models and evaluation of deal economics, commercial terms and conditionals and operational requirements to present risk/reward profile for opportunities
  • Become expert on Callidus and Steelbrick quoting tools, reviewing and enforcing revenue recognition compliance for all quoting
  • Key resource reviewing and approving all non-standard pricing requests that reach the level of executive manager
  • Review will include financial analysis for gross margin, revenue compliance, non standard terms requests on strategic deals including Enterprise Agreements
  • Partner with field sales organization to drive large deal closure, including being one-touch resource for field sales - responsible for liaising with all organizations involved in the agreement process (finance, legal, order management, etc.) on behalf of sales - Personally services as a trusted advisor to field sales on deals
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders for decision support deal solutions
  • Collaborate with impacted parties to generate acceptable documents to facilitate deal closure
  • Ensure required approvals, such as discounts and contractual terms, are obtained and clearly documented
  • Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations to understand contract requirements, structure, business terms and identification of potential risks and/or opportunities that can affect performance, growth and strategic positioning
  • Responsible for adherence to and compliance with policy and procedures
  • Evaluate current processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvement
  • Ensure that all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
  • Excellent customer service, taking charge to meet deadlines by communicating with cross-functional partners through email, phone, meetings, or any other method to deliver on-time
  • Understand GAAP Rules

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience (in a tech environment, in a Finance/Sales Operation role)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance (or additional experience) or equivalent military experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units
  • Ability to work independently in fast paced environment
  • Experience of data analysis, modeling and/or financial analysis
  • Intermediate/advanced Salesforce.com and MS Excel skills are highly recommended
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $104,000 - $167,000/YR. Company Description

Dynatrace exists to make software work perfectly. This enables innovators to modernize and automate cloud operations, deliver software faster and more securely, and ensure flawless digital experiences.

  • Be a valued and integral part of our Finance team, engaging with various levels of leadership to drive more accurate forecasting and insightful reporting.
  • Maintain Financial models for product consumption, adoption, penetration and impacts to Dynatrace’s Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Revenue.
  • Serve as Finance lead in supporting Product Management in forecasting, planning and reporting the performance of Dynatrace’s product portfolio.
  • Assist in analyzing product line consumption for executive and Board of Director reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Act as the interlock between Sales bookings targets and product management forecasts to ensure alignment on ACV, Consumption and ARR long range plans.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to assist in the implementation and administration of key financial reporting/planning systems, including driving automation, process improvement.

This role is currently hybrid (2 days per week) out of our Waltham, MA office. Our office will be relocating in the spring to Boston, MA. This position will then be hybrid after the move out of Boston, MA (2 days per week).

Candidates will be required to commute to both locations during this transition.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in a Finance Business Partner capacity.
  • Bachelors Degree.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong financial, operational, and analytical capabilities combined with a genuine interest in understanding the business drivers and economics of a high growth, subscription business; knowledge of SaaS KPI’s preferred.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (pivots, macros, nested formulas) required; experience with data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau and/or Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to create insightful, accurate reporting and slide content for C-level leadership and Board of Director audiences.
  • Comfortable developing analysis and recommendations in the presence of ambiguity by asking questions and challenging the status quo when appropriate.
  • Strong track record of working cross-functionally to support critical business objectives.
  • Experience working in planning tools; Anaplan and/or Business Intelligence environments is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Consider yourself technical enough to cover some accounts while your SE is busy assisting others
  • Above quota sales experience in a high-tempo culture
  • Experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances including, but not limited to - Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies and Caches, SD-WAN
  • Practical experience working with routing and switching products that will be installed adjacent to our appliances
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally
  • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel centric go to market approach
  • Excellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
