Who we seek:

The RVP Sales, West will be a key member of the Leadership Sales Team, reporting directly to the SVP, Sales North America. This role will be responsible for driving the execution of all sales initiatives and will ensure the short and long-term revenue of West Regional Sales.

  • Lead, inspire, and drive a team of 5-10 senior enterprise direct sales executives to meet and exceed assigned revenue targetsÂ
  • Set strategic direction of the team, including setting quotas, assigning account coverage, and sales forecasting
  • Proactively build regional sales projects including systems and process reinforcement in Salesforce, lead generation, and implementation of new tools and processes
  • Forecasting and performance management of the team to Area Vice President, East
  • Conduct weekly reporting with the sales team on meetings delivery and revenue performance
  • Partner with key members of the management team for predictable achievement of overall sales metrics

Required Qualifications:

  • You will have minimum 10 years of first line sales management experience selling enterprise software large enterprises
  • B2B Enterprise Cyber Security / SaaS scaling experience selling data securityÂ
  • Excellent business strategy instincts; able to perform in a challenging, changing environment
  • Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Must be results oriented, have high integrity and a desire to be part of a world-class, rapidly expanding technology company
  • Outstanding sales and leadership skills
  • Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization
  • Proven track record of successfully closing six and seven figure software licensing deals with partners, prospects and customers in the defined territory
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

The annual base salary range is $175,000 – $200,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is just one component of our Compensation Philosophy. Variable/Bonus Compensation & Equity Incentives align with individual and company performance.

  • Responsible for creating the sales development process, methodology, cadences, hiring profiles, and enablement
  • Recruit, train, and manage a world class team of SDRs and SDR managers
  • Proactively identify and launch initiatives to drive pipeline development
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to develop outbound campaigns that align to regional territory plans, ARR goals, and the Marketing team on inbound demand generation and campaign execution
  • Ensure that sales accepted leads are consistent and in line with company objectives
  • Ensure that you and your teams effectively and efficiently qualify inbound leads as well as develop outbound strategies leveraging revenue and field marketing resources and content
  • Motivate and empower individual and team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship, and manage SDR career advancement within the company
  • Report on sales metrics and conduct weekly forecasts to Sales leadership, and ensure that results are easy to consume and understand by all stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of delivering consistent sales pipeline at both large enterprise accounts and more transactional commercial accounts managing outbound prospecting teams
  • 5+ years experience managing a team of SDRs
  • Management experience leading teams of 15 or more team members across North America, EMEA, and APAC
  • Knowledge and experience with both outbound and inbound business development motions and KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Proven success aligning key stakeholders including sales, marketing, operations, and product marketing
  • Proven ability to hire, train, and retain new SDRs
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Highly proficient in Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Navigator, Salesloft or Outreach.io, LeanData and other sales productivity tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SaaS experience for a technical, complex product (networking, DevOps, security) highly preferred

The base salary range for this position is: $136,500 - $178,500, with an expected overall targeted earnings (OTE) range of: $195,000 - $255,000. The salary range and OTE reflect the low and high end of the U.S. range Kentik reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role. The actual salary offered may be lower or higher than the stated range depending on various factors, including but not limited to:

We're hiring a Director of Technology Alliances to join our Business Development team. You will work as an individual contributor and be based in San Jose, CA (going into the office 2-3 days per week).

  • Co-own a set of partnerships; build unique technical integrations, marketing and GTM projects that bring value for joint customers and source new customer engagements.
  • Work with Product and Solution Architecture teams to identify product integration opportunities that address new customer use cases and build business cases to prioritize.
  • Understand the partners' goals, go-to-market approach, and channel and use this insight to build partnership strategy focused on new sales and customer engagements.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or related discipline. If an undergraduate degree is not technical, an MBA is required.
  • 8+ years demonstrated experience in strategic BD, technology alliances, product management/marketing, technical/solution marketing or technical sales enablement role at Software or SaaS technology provider.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technology alliances and partner ecosystem, with joint GTM execution impact at scale through sell-with models.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
