Summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the leading cloud provider, delivering virtualized infrastructure, storage, networking, messaging, and many other services to customers all over the world to include the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC).

The AWS Security US ADC Security, Industrial Security & Compliance team is responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing Amazon's National Industrial Security Program (NISP). As a Program Security Officer supporting the AWS NISP, you will join a team of industry-leading security experts working with the U.S. Government to operate and continuously improve industry-leading security programs and processes in support of the IC Information Technology Enterprise. This position requires innovative thinking balanced with a strong customer obsession and a focus on quality and delivering results.

AWS Security is looking for an exceptional Program Security Officer with a strong track record of supporting security programs within cleared facilities, demonstrable program/project management experience, comprehensive program security knowledge, and a deep understanding of government security programs, processes, and requirements.

Company Overview

As a Program Security Officer at an accredited AWS site you will own the execution of multiple security disciplines in support of fast-moving classified operations and manage a wide array of projects designed to protect personnel, National Security Information, and critical infrastructure from insider and external threats. You must obsess over internal and external customers and successfully deliver support and services in an environment where priorities shift extremely fast. You must be able to operate independently to manage security projects, continuously triage and prioritize accordingly, communicate clearly and compellingly (without PowerPoint), THINK BIG and outside the box, and deliver exceptional products.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

  • Responsible for providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, information, industrial, counterintelligence, and computer security issues.
  • Create, implement, communicate, and manage security requirements at a government accredited, while providing day-to-day multi-discipline program security operations support.
  • Proactively identify program and physical security requirements, problems, and sound solutions to successfully sustain and enhance the security of program execution.
  • Maintenance of security hardware and systems employed onsite to meet government and AWS security requirements.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with internal (operations staff, engineers, teammates, etc.) and external (vendors, contractors, government staff, etc.) partners to heighten security awareness and engagement.
  • Must be willing to share on-call rotations in support of alarms, security incidents, and critical service outages.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience acting in a Program Security Officer/CPSO/Security Specialist/Security Manager capacity in which duties required interpreting and implementing requirements within the personnel, industrial, and physical security disciplines.
  • 2+ years experience with ICDs, NISPOM, and other government regulations related to classified programs.
  • 2+ years experience working with physical security hardware, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Access Control Systems.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • FSO/CSSO certification/training.
  • Experience with a secure facility construction meeting ICD 705 requirements.
  • Experience serving as a COMSEC custodian or alternate.
  • Experience applying information assurance and information security policies and standards to include system administration tasks.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to drive program security projects independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and can learn quickly.

The base pay for this position ranges from $91,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $196,300/year in our highest geographic market.   • Solid understanding of IAM Certification, Access Controls, Accounts Inventories with Ownership and LCM, Regional Regulatory & Approval requirements (Access Controls implementation experience is preferred)

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and 7+ years of hands-on engineering and development experience:

  • Oracle data model and tables design, complex queries development and tuning
  • Oracle PL/SQL and SQL queries development, tuning and optimization experiences, OLTP transaction processing and experience manipulating large data sets
  • Develop triggers to log audit logs and data change history
  • Strong SQL Server and tSQL experience a plus
  • Strong experience and ability to work in the team environment as well as deliver tasks with little supervision, analyze issues and proposed solutions are must

Desirable Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications. An advanced degree is also preferred.

Work Location(s):

  • As per MUFG’s Return to Office policy, must work onsite for 4 days per week & 1 day remote out of either Tampa, FL or Tempe, AZ (Preference) or Jersey City, NJ.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $114K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation. Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced cybersecurity team. In this role, you will act as a player-coach, working closely with application developers, architects, and security teams to ensure that applications are designed, developed, refactored, and re-engineered securely. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud provider environments (Azure (preferred), AWS, and GCP) and will play a critical role in guiding security best practices in a highly regulated banking organization.

You will be responsible for driving secure development practices within teams, while also acting as a mentor and coach to junior security team members and developers. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will collaborate daily with development teams, providing both strategic guidance and practical support to ensure the security of cloud-based applications.

  • Hands-on Development Support: Work day-to-day with developers and DevOps teams to integrate security into the application lifecycle, including design, refactoring, and re-engineering of applications in cloud environments.
  • Security Best Practices: Lead the development and implementation of secure coding and development practices, including threat modeling, secure code reviews, and risk-based security assessments.
  • Cloud Security Expertise: Provide deep technical guidance on cloud security, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, container security, and more.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Act as a player-coach by leading by example in technical engagements while mentoring junior security engineers and developers on secure coding and development practices.

Required Qualifications:
