JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic marketing efforts for our company's product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive product adoption, revenue growth, and market leadership. This role requires a deep understanding of the product landscape, market dynamics, and customer needs to effectively position and promote our products in the competitive marketplace.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies, product launches and plans to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Exhibit clear understanding of our products, target market, and competitive landscape to create compelling product positioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Be an expert on how our buyers buy and their buying criteria; serve as a voice of the customer to internal product-focused teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and engineering, to define product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies.
  • Define and communicate the unique value proposition of our products to customers, prospects, and internal collaborators.
  • Collaborate with product management to shape the product roadmap based on market insights and customer feedback.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new market opportunities and share insights with Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • Educate Sales and Partners on how to position and sell, both directly and working with sales enablement; contribute to development of sales playbooks and other tools to assist with these efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in a B2B environment; experience in the tech or cybersecurity industry is preferred.
  • Strong internal communicator and collaborator. Experience working with cross-functional teams that span marketing, sales, and product management organizations.
  • Expertise with data, IT, cloud, or security persona-based messaging or workload expertise – databases, VMs, and SaaS applications.
  • Consistent track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
  • Demonstrated success in communicating and evangelizing technical products –- ideally involving multiple offerings, audiences, and deliverables.

$134,300 - $247,300

  • Help define and refine the software development practices that make our team effective
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with an eye towards observability and resilience
  • Coach and empower the less senior engineers on your team to help them level up and own larger epics
  • Work with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to decide on the vision and scope of your product area

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to write clean, maintainable, and testable full stack code (Node.js/TypeScript)
  • Experience in complex development environments, especially in large-scale highly available distributed systems and SaaS platforms
  • Experience in developing resilient and scalable backend services on any major cloud provider, preferably AWS
  • Experience developing RESTful API's and interfaces that are secure and intuitive
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, linux, and distributed systems
  • Knowledge of secure web development practices with troubleshooting complex application workflows and performance tuning
  • Experience using assertion frameworks and tools like Mocha, Cypress, Jest to automate regression checks
  • You are self starter, minimal supervision and track record of learning quickly
  • Cares about details and is dedicated to elegant and high quality software

Preferred Qualifications

  • You enjoy making Engineers successful and are fulfilled through the success of others
  • In-depth experience with CI/CD pipelines such as BitBucket, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc
  • Broad range of experience implementing various cloud design patterns
  • Experience with serverless / lambda based implementations

Salary Range ($145,000 - $200,000)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.

  • An excellent opportunity to be a key contributor to the exciting Dynatrace Security Solution journey. The individual will closely work with the broader solutions engineering team and security sales specialist team to drive the technical lane in opportunities and will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support and expert guidance to the broader customer facing teams.

  • As a Lead Security Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of the Dynatrace sales engine and will be responsible for providing excellent technical support specifically to the security sales team but also to the broader sales team.

  • You will be the expert on Dynatrace and all things security. Within this exciting role, you will be responsible for executing great demos which demonstrate Dynatrace’s unique approach in solving the customer’s pain, executing and managing PoCs remote and on-site, building key relationships with customers and completing RFIs & RFPs, as well as coaching others to accomplish the same.

  • You will also work across teams including innovation lab, product management, consultants, customer care and marketing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience supporting sales teams in a leading presale role.

Preferred Requirements:

  • To ensure your success as a Solutions Engineer at Dynatrace, you need to be an ambitious, confident, and self-motivated individual, with previous SE experience or another technical customer facing role.
  • You need to be passionate about innovative technology, technical sales and articulating value to customers and prospects.
  • Deep experience with CNAPP or CSPM solutions, preferably with additional security technologies such as container security, CSPM, SAST, SCA, DAST, IAST, RASP or CWPP.
  • Fluent in English and either Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Appreciation of a very dynamic and changing security market.
  • Understanding of observability and APM technologies and market.
  • Be able to demonstrate a track record leading to sales success.
  • An excellent team player, with the ability to work across all disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical value into business value.
  • Deep understanding of cloud native technologies such as container platforms and public cloud offerings.
  • Previous 3-5 years of experience working with Java, .NET, PHP or JavaScript languages and are knowledgeable around web technologies as well as SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience with Windows & Linux.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues to produce a working outcome and be able to manage this process.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Must have a strong desire to grow professionally and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
  • Up to 30% of travel required within the region.
  • Location is flexible across North America.

Compensation and rewards:

  • The base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $175,000. When determining your salary, we consider your experience, skills, education, and work location.
  • Our total compensation package includes unlimited personal time off, an employee stock purchase plan, and a reward system.
  • We also offer medical/dental benefits, and a company matching 401(k) plan for retirement.
