  • You will build, lead and manage a team of 5-6 highly motivated, successful Sales Reps located in the Chicago area.
  • You will develop a strategic go-to market business plan to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals for the region.
  • Build sales pipeline by developing relationships with top tier prospects, partners, and customers
  • Hire, develop, motivate, and retain top sales talent for the region through coaching and mentoring
  • Manage and grow new customer relationships and revenue associated with Arista's Cognitive Cloud Networking solutions and switching platforms including Cognitive Campus WI-FI, and AI Networking products in addition to our DANZ Automated Fabric Monitoring, Network Detection & Response, End Point security and AI-driven Network Identity solutions.
  • Prospect and develop partner resellers in the territory
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with value-add resellers and grow business through these partnerships
  • Participate in marketing program planning, development, execution, and measurement to ensure that programs succeed according to plan
  • Interface with Arista headquarters to coordinate sales and marketing activity
  • Monitor client satisfaction and elevate issues of dissatisfaction for quick resolution
  • Foster and facilitate a collaborative team environment which intersects empowerment with accountability in a matrix management organization structure
  • Set own priorities and schedules to meet established goals and meet commitments consistently
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • A BA/BS degree
  • 12+ years sales experience in high tech infrastructure sales.
  • Previous experience managing, leading and building Sales teams.
  • Demonstrated history of consistent sales achievement over target
  • Consistent track record for developing new business and managing a complex sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals
  • Core Domain knowledge of networking solutions, network routers/switches and selling into data center and campus environments.
  • Demonstrated success with CXO and multi-level selling
  • Highly motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Knowledge of competitive products, solutions, and services
  • Strong time management, ability to multi-task, takes initiative and follows through
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity

  • Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within a named list of healthcare accounts in the Chicago area.
  • You will be responsible for utilizing a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders to address the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and siloed legacy IT systems across the Arista product portfolio including; Software-Driven Cloud Networking platforms, EOS (Open Source Network OS), Cognitive Campus Networking, WI-FI Campus networking, Cloud Vision (Network Automation & Telemetry), Network Monitoring Fabric solutions in addition to NDR, Endpoint and AI driven Network Identity Access security solutions.
  • Meet with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels to present Arista’s value proposition.
  • Work with Arista systems engineers to design and position compelling solutions that drive down the total cost of ownership.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate best-in-class solutions.
  • Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory.
  • Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic business reviews with your prospects and customers.
  • Conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns and technology forums.
  • Collaborate with Arista peers on marketing plans and best practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions and competitor strategies.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in addition to 8+ years of technology sales experience.
  • Proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets
  • You possess relevant data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industry background from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner or end user is a a requirement.
  • Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
  • You possess previous selling experience and technical acumen in one or more of the following areas; Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper converged infrastructure or Cloud computing.

The Senior Manager is responsible for the performance of their team of consultants, including team utilization, skillset development, mentoring, and project execution. The Sr. Manager has a solid understanding of network and application penetration testing, compliance frameworks, and offensive security best practice requirements, as well as a strong mentoring mentality. The Senior Manager oversees projects, performs project tasks, and ensures quality reports for clients. They work closely with Project Managers, Directors, and other Delivery team members to effectively manage their team, project timelines, and deliverables for which they are responsible. Sr. Managers are also expected to support Sales activities, as necessary.

  • Manage priorities, tasks, and hours on projects in conjunction with the project manager to achieve successful project delivery with team and non-team planned resources.
  • Either handle or escalate client and project-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Interface with clients as a thought leader through entire engagement, interacting with all levels of client organizations. Establish and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, quality management, sales, and other delivery team members to drive customer satisfaction and meet project deliverables.
  • Assist with scoping and bidding estimates for sales and delivery team members.
  • Assist with report quality assurance prior to delivery.
  • Lead customer-facing meetings including charter/kickoff, periodic status, and project debrief meetings.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members in areas of security consultation, reporting and presentations.
  • Provide HR administrative duties for team members as required.
  • Keep a pulse on your team on a regular basis depending on everyone’s requirements. Team sizes may range from one (1) to ten (10) members ranging from Associate to Principal Consultant.
  • Work with leadership to develop, mature, and maintain SOP’s and methodologies in support of related products and services.
  • Continuous professional development in maintaining a strong depth of knowledge in the practice area.
  • Support the team growth through the hiring interview process, acting as the hiring manager and working with your Director on compensation.
  • Track team utilization against billable targets.
  • Provide Sales Support as necessary and in support of developing skills on a management career path.
  • Primarily remote with ability to travel up to 10% (potentially & during normal circumstances).

Required Qualifications

  • Authentic leadership style leading by example
  • Ability to lead penetration testing projects/team independently for the full project lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of compliance pen testing frameworks
  • In-depth experience with various testing methodologies and troubleshooting experience
  • Strong understanding of security principles, policies, and industry best practices
  • An aptitude for technical writing, including assessment reports, presentations, and operating procedures
  • Strong experience around Account Organization and Project Management driving customer satisfaction and success
  • Familiarity with Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), PCI DSS Pentation Testing Guidance, and National Institute of Standards, FedRAMP Penetration Testing Guidance and Technology (NIST) Special Publications
  • Understanding of the essential business practices of a professional consulting organization
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a consulting/professional services role
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project management and business portfolio management
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Network Security
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Security

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in an IT-related field or Business Management
  • Industry related certifications such as OSCP, GPEN or Cloud related certs for AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Strong working knowledge with tools such as Burp Suite, Postman, SQLmap, etc.

The salary range listed is a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
