• Receive and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and alerts related to security incidents and emergencies.
• Dispatch security personnel to respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance according to established procedures and protocols.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and other physical security technologies to detect and assess security incidents in real-time.
• Respond to security alarms, including intrusion alarms, fire alarms, and duress alarms, and initiate appropriate response procedures.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with security personnel, supervisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate incident response activities.
• Record all incidents, responses, and actions taken in a detailed and accurate manner using incident management system or computer aided dispatch.
• Assist with the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to security personnel and guide them during critical situations.
• Relay critical information and updates to appropriate stakeholders, including hospital leadership, in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with internal and external emergency services, such as law enforcement, fire departments, and medical services, to facilitate a timely and effective response to emergencies.
• Escalate high-priority incidents or emergencies to appropriate management or authorities as necessary.
• Address and relay any security related hardware or software issues as needed. Continue to work with vendors or internal support to rectify any issues that arise.

Required:

• High-school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of IAHSS Basic exam within 90 days of hire.
• Maintain IAHSS Basic certification
• Current BLS through American Heart Association within 9 months of hire
• Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with a variety of individuals including employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, law enforcement and other outside agencies
• Attention to detail to accurately document incidents and maintain records.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Writing skills necessary to complete reports and paperwork that meets departmental standards.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods and operate computer equipment.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as physical security operations require 24/7 monitoring.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and the Internet.
• Familiarity with physical security principles, procedures, and technologies, including surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to assess situations quickly and determine the appropriate course of action in a calm demeanor

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a security dispatching role or similar position.

• Manages the partnership and collaboration with external auditors and collect/report key metrics provided by multiple stakeholders, assist with the development and reporting of key audit dashboards for SAP products
• Oversees and maintains a centralized audit register and calendar for SAP products
• Lead the Internal Audit IT risk assessment process and provide input to a risk-based audit plan for SAP products

• Assist audit support leadership in identifying opportunities to improve business processes and IT operations making recommendations to the audit team and to the relevant management teams for SAP products

• The candidate must have a broad understanding of business functions and processes, IT processes, systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce), IT general controls and emerging technologies including cloud computing, mobile computing, privacy and cybersecurity
• Understanding the role of an auditor, the definition of a high-quality audit and an understanding of expectations of all parties involved in an external audit

• Experience IT/Cloud auditing and controls, preferably in two of the following FedRAMP, SSAE 16 - SOC 1 & SOC 2, PCI compliance, NIST, ISO 27001 & ISO 27002

Responsibilities

Strategic Partner

• Ability to identify, analyze and propose strategic initiatives to leadership and the executive committee for security operations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Leaders, Asset Protection teams and campus leaders to align security operation initiatives to their respective business operations
• Build and maintain partnerships with local and state law enforcement, federal agencies, third party vendors, other retailers and community organizations

Leadership

• Develop and coordinate recruitment, selection criteria and the training and development for security operations positions
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to security operations
• Lead the implementation and communication of best practices related to security operations
• Manage legal compliance issues to ensure security operations is compliant by city, state or federal law and regulation
• Negotiate and manage agreements for security related equipment contracts for alarms, cameras and other investigation tools for new and existing stores
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and provide guidance to leadership for reducing security risks
• Oversee investigations involving crimes or actions committed against Scheels by internal or external individuals or groups
• Ensure investigative protocols are properly followed and monitor for consistency in meeting Scheels standards of investigation
• Develop and implement emergency and security protocols for Scheels campus and store locations including potential and actual emergency response, protests and civil unrest
• Collaborate with Scheels firearm compliance team to ensure proper security and control of firearms and ammunition as well as compliance of all applicable firearms laws
• Collaborate with Scheels inventory leaders on best practices for inventory control, processes and procedures
• Collaborate with Scheels IT and Ecommerce teams on Cyber Security risks and vulnerabilities
• Lead shrink reduction and profit growth through improved shrink initiatives
• Develop data analytics that can be utilized to create awareness, develop training and monitor potential risks related to security operations
• Exercise judgment and tact and effectively work with all levels within the organization
