• Develop and implement the organization’s information security strategy and best practices.
• Recommend security enhancements and develop strategies for incident response and recovery.
• Participate in the education and training of the workforce on information security awareness.
• Install and manage security measures such as firewalls and encryption programs to protect sensitive information.
• Conduct regular network scans, penetration tests, and monitor for security breaches or intrusions.
• Lead incident response and forensic investigations to assess and mitigate impacts from security breaches.
• Design infrastructure to alert of detected vulnerabilities and assist in recovery of data post-security incidents.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of information technology experience supporting inbound customer requests or issue resolution;
• High school diploma;

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field MS in Computer Science or Information Management;
• Certifications such as CISSP, ISSEP, or CEH;
• Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications;
• Direct experience with antivirus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering;
• Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architecture;
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods;
• Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards and procedures;
• Proficient in risk assessment and disaster recovery planning;
• Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management;
• Ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software;
• Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions, including File Integrity Monitoring and Data Loss Prevention

On-Call Rotation: Monthly, to handle escalated incidents.
