Summary Information

The IAM Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and integrating identity and access management frameworks, systems, and protocols that spans SSO, MFA, privileged access controls, and other identity needs to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IAM systems and corporate data. The IAM Systems Engineer will lead in a global capacity and collaborate with business, application, and technical leaders in multiple regions to engineer and deliver identity access needs while adhering to strict standards to ensure cybersecurity discipline is maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement access control mechanism, including SSO, multi-factor authentication, biometrics, and other authentication protocols to enhance the company’s security posture and safeguard sensitive information
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, administrators, developers, and cybersecurity to integrate IAM solutions seamlessly into the enterprise.
  • Advanced management of multi-domain instances and identity/SSO/SAML systems (Okta) in a global environment with 6000+ users
  • Automate provisioning and deprovisioning of applications using SAML and SCIM
  • Document engineered solutions in visual and written formats to train operational team members on proper support processes to minimize escalations
  • Mentor existing IAM operations team members to bolster productivity, performance, and knowledge
  • Rapidly respond and drive resolution to major systemic IAM incidents and unresolved complex end user escalated issues; Engineer solutions to avoid future escalations
  • Proactively evaluate existing capabilities and new offerings to drive security enhancements in SaaS, Cloud, and other access control spaces to stay ahead of emerging IAM threats
  • Engineer automated capabilities to comply with audit/compliance requests to minimize manual efforts
  • Lead integration efforts with HRIS, Active Directory, and other identity systems to automate provisioning/deprovisioning of new personnel
  • Identify and engineer solutions to drive a least-privileged access approach for administrative access to others
  • Perform other duties as needed or required

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • 5+ years of proven experience in designing and engineering enterprise class IAM solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of access control models, authentication protocols, and authorization mechanisms
  • Expertise in OKTA, Active Directory, and AzureActive Directory
  • Expertise in identity verification methods, including multi-factor authentication and biometrics
  • Expertise in implementing SSO solutions using SAML and other protocols
  • Strong ability to automate identity related tasks such user provisioning and access management
  • Effective ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to integrate IAM solutions in accordance with industry and cybersecurity best practices
  • Ability to identify and analyze IAM threats or anomalous activities
  • Ability to document solutions and mentor IAM team members for professional growth

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows.

$78,600.00 - $146,000.00
