POSITION SUMMARY

As the highest level in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) series, this position will work closely with the service desk, audit, and IT teams such as application developers and other administrators in creating functional, scalable, and secure IAM operations as well as the design and development of new business applications. This position will also assist with identifying, evaluating, and participating in decision making around new and emerging IAM automation activities and will support and provide backup to IAM Team.

Responsibilities

  • With limited supervision, provide analysis and development knowledge for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privilege Access Management (PAM), Single Sign-on (SSO), and/or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Provides in depth expertise related to Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Service and Azure Active Directory topics.
  • Provides input to the IAM capability roadmap and strategy.
  • Strategic design and/or selection of tools and technologies with a focus on application requirements of IAM.
  • Active Directory/ADFS/Azure AD synchronization and management.
  • Assist in the review and design of new IAM security technologies and support to ensure that the appropriate controls and tools are selected and operationalized.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the following identity related services: Active Directory, Identity & Access Management, Conditional Access and MFA.
  • Capability to support a variety of technologies such as multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, network infrastructure, and understanding of security and dataflow within these components.
  • Provide technical expertise related to Microsoft AD and other relevant components, including workflow automation between Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft O365.
  • Work with business to create and maintain role-based access controls for user accounts.
  • Ensure account audits and access methods are conducted as required by the IAM program and regulatory requirements. Report any data discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
  • Analyze & understand the risks associated with application security exposures and provide solutions to eliminate or reduce these exposures.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible technical systems experience in Information Technologies, with at least half of the years of experience directly related to identity and access management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field of study
  • Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted:Â Yes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in PowerShell and SQL queries.
  • Experience in creation, change, deletion of user accounts, privileges, and roles including management, administration, and support of Active Directory (AD) domain structure.Â
  • One or more of the following certifications: MCSE Productivity Certification, MCSE Core Infrastructure Certification, or other industry specific certifications around identity and privileged access management solutions.Â
