Typical Annualized Hiring Range: 68,100 - 85,100, within a full salary range of 68,100 – 110,600

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors, reports on and enhances performance and utilization of assigned technical security solutions.
  • Maintains application scripts and uses application specific tools to create or manage operational security.
  • Tracks and documents security vulnerabilities, issues and requests, actively monitors work queue and remediates.
  • Supports change, request, problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests on assigned technical security solutions.
  • Creates and coordinates completion of detailed security reports to fulfill audit, management or business owner requirements.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of operational documentation for technical security solutions (e.g. procedures, engineering diagrams, knowledgebase, etc.).
  • Responds to security alerts.
  • Assist with on-call support.
  • Provides audit support activities for internal and external audits.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ work experience with IT Security or systems administration
  • Cybersecurity Technical Specialist Defense and Threat Operations: CYSA+ or GSEC or Security+ 180 Days
  • Working knowledge of Information Technology fields and computer systems
  • Demonstrated administration and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
  • Basic security knowledge of platforms, systems, databases, and application security
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and quantitative analysis ability
  • Understanding of Information Security concepts, frameworks, and regulatory requirements
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Data Engine filters (CRIBL and Syslog-NG), SIEM (Splunk, Guardium, LogRhythm, etc.), Security Automation and Orchestration, and Case Management solutions
  • Exposure to Project Management methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, Lean or SAFe methodologies
