Responsibilities
- Monitors and analyzes security logs and alerts for suspicious activity.
- Investigates security incidents and reports findings to senior analysts.
- Responds to security incidents by following established incident response playbooks.
- Performs vulnerability assessments and risk assessments.
- Stays up to date on the latest security threats and trends
- Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Manage security operations center (SOC) tools and systems.
- Train and mentor junior analysts
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a SOC or similar role.
- Strong understanding of security tools and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
