Responsibilities

  • Monitors and analyzes security logs and alerts for suspicious activity.
  • Investigates security incidents and reports findings to senior analysts.
  • Responds to security incidents by following established incident response playbooks.
  • Performs vulnerability assessments and risk assessments.
  • Stays up to date on the latest security threats and trends
  • Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Manage security operations center (SOC) tools and systems.
  • Train and mentor junior analysts

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a SOC or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of security tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
