Get to Know the Opportunity:

The Associate IT Security specialist will assist with the completion of information security requirements and deliverables related to eDiscovery and Legal Hold requests affecting cloud and on-premises identity and access management systems and data storage systems. This role will ensure operational tasks related to eDiscovery and Legal Hold requirements are delivered successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Follow workflow, procedures, and implementation of jobs with eDiscovery tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Encase.
  • Troubleshoot, research, diagnose, and resolve encountered issues in job.
  • Processing, loading, and exporting data of various types (PST files, eDocs, or archived files) using eDiscovery tools i.e., Relativity, Proofpoint, and Veritas Discovery Accelerator.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of forensic and data encryption tools, electronic discovery, and data collection processes.
  • Receive and track media (Internal/External hard drives).
  • Demonstrated understanding of data preservation and chain of custody.
  • Organize and perform file transfers and shipments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the entire EDRM model is required.
  • Search term formatting, performing searches and structured analytics.
  • A concrete understanding of eDiscovery and litigation support.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an eDiscovery position with law firms, corporate legal departments, or eDiscovery service providers.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Understanding of database design, data processing activities, and legal document review requirements.
  • Coordinates and documents security requirements and processes across all Technology Risk & Security Management (TRSM) teams.
  • Takes ownership of trouble tickets and other technical requests as they are assigned to the team and performs the necessary task with the highest levels of accuracy.
  • Ensures all deliverables are tracked, planned, and resourced appropriately.
  • Escalates risks/concerns/issues to management when Security is being compromised, removed, or eliminated.
  • Performs activities including planning and tracking any assigned projects and key task dates to management or other eDiscovery staff.
  • Communicates with customers and management to ensure customers' requirements are met and in compliance with company standards.

  • Legal Hold Laptop Imaging/Preservations
  • New workspace configurations
  • File Share Collection (Data Request)
  • Relativity User Access (Security Requests)
  • Quarterly Workspace audit and archival
  • Document Imaging
  • Off hours changes and validation requests

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 years eDiscovery work experience.
  • Working experience with Relativity or other eDiscovery Platforms.
  • Experience in Encase and forensic tools.
  • Requires excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrates integrity and strong judgment skills.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, peers, and management effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the M365 Purview Platform a plus.
  • Possesses a desire and ability to learn new technologies.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$53,970 - $89,960 USD
