Your Career

As a member of the Advanced URL Filtering (Internet Security) Infrastructure and Data Science Team, you will work closely with data scientists, security researchers, and other engineers on implementing different projects to detect and defend against various emerging threats in the areas of Web Security. You will build big data and distributed systems that use machine learning and deep learning models to analyze and categorize an enormous amount of URLs. You will be a key person in transforming ideas into products that are part of the next-generation security platform.

Your Impact

  • Build and maintain threat research systems for both customer-facing products and internal infrastructures.
  • Work closely with team members and Product Managers to collect product requirements, create design drafts, and develop functional specifications.
  • Implement solutions by adhering to software development guidelines and best practices.
  • Work with SREs on production release/deployment and monitoring.

Your Experience

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Creative thinker and team player, with good communication skills and a desire to make differences.
  • Proficient with Golang or Java. Must also be competent with Python.
  • Ability to design, implement, and deploy backend services and data pipelines; conduct regression and integration tests.
  • Proficient in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and container-based development (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of web development technologies such as Javascript or Typescript is a plus
  • Proficient in Linux OS and shell scripting.
  • Proficient in database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or similar.
  • Experience with Big data, distributed systems, and ETL pipelines such as Spark.
  • Have basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Web Content Classification.
  • Hands-on and humble attitude, self-directed and passion in cybersecurity.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $170,000 - $225,000/YR.   • Provide technical services around Prisma Cloud technologies, including troubleshooting and best practices observations for Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Manage support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner
  • Perform fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues
  • Provide configurations, troubleshooting, and best practices to customers in CI/CD pipelines and Linux-based environments
  • Publish Technical Support Bulletins and other technical documentation in the Knowledge Base to assist customers and improve operational efficiency
  • Review technical documentation for training materials, technical marketing collateral, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to influence the operability of Prisma Cloud and its integrations with other technologies
  • Occasional travel to customer sites may be required in the event of a critical situation
  • Participate in an infrequent weekend on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
  • Provide on-call support 24x7 only on an as-needed basis, with minimal frequency

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and strong background in major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience in deploying, managing, and securing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
  • Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Ansible
  • Significant experience in a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or in direct support or consulting roles with customers
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently in complex environments with mixed applications and protocols
  • Excellent skills in collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with container security tools (e.g., Twistlock)
  • Knowledge of SIEM, vulnerability management tools, and firewalls
  • Understanding of malware, exploits, and operating system structure
  • Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) and AWS Solutions Architect.

  • Business Partnering - Trusted advisor and Finance partner to key Sales leadership within North America - Develop an understanding of their business and translate that into operational and financial information - Help develop various metrics and reports to monitor the health of the business on a regular basis, including identification of areas of P&L risk and opportunities - Deliver insights of data to help grow and drive profitability of the NAM business - Unlock growth opportunities through deep data analysis and implementation of effective analytical frameworks - Support the analysis, approval and execution of key operational activities such as headcount requisitions, program spend, purchase requisitions, and time and expenses - Able and willing to champion difficult but necessary trade-offs in the business

  • Quarterly / Monthly Close, Forecast and Reporting - Guide and drive the Segment Sales financial close and forecast process for headcount and OPEX - Provide monthly and quarterly financial reporting, analysis and key metrics that enable business decision making - Incorporate best practices and create a more streamlined, methodical and data-driven approach to drive forecasting accuracy, and drive a more efficient close process

Required

  • 8+ years FP&A experience with prior experience in strategy consulting or corporate/business strategy
  • Experience with ERP and/or Planning Systems
  • Ability to demonstrate effective leadership in ambiguous and frequently changing situations. Thrives in ambiguity with ability to deliver strong business outcomes
  • Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
