  • Ability to lead a team of SLED Channel Business Managers to build and execute business plans focused on high growth solutions
  • Provide world–class relationship development and thought leadership across SLED Ecosystems partners to increase revenue and drive incremental business opportunities
  • Work with Palo Alto Networks SLED Leaderships teams (Northeast, Southeast, Central, West), Partner teams, and Marketing teams to identify key growth segments, build a strategic plan, and enablement model
  • While leading a team, this role is part of the Americas team and thinking as an Americas leader is required. Collaboration with cross functional groups is critical to success
  • Working with the partners, you need to define tailored value propositions and create detailed go–to–market plans that strengthen our value proposition to the marketplace while providing new revenue opportunities with our partners

Your Experience

  • 10+ years experience of tech channel partnerships/sales successfully implementing channel strategy to drive dramatically increased sales
  • Proven business leader with experience driving influence and build relationships with decision makers across all levels of partner and prospect organizations
  • Highly effective relationship/partner development skills
  • Experience formulating a partnership vision, strategy, and execution plan
  • Track record of driving enterprise sales via channel partners (partner handles selling motion)
  • Proven experience of exceeding channels sales or direct sales quotas
  • Proven analytical skills to determine which programs work and insight to build on that experience

The Team

The channel organization at Palo Alto Networks is a strategic pillar for our continued growth within cybersecurity, and a critical component to accomplishing our mission. Channel development is an extension of the territory sales team, with the ultimate goal to train and enable our channel partners to become empowered in the use and sales of our products.

**Compensation Disclosure **

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $272,000/yr to $374,000/yr.   • Provide White Glove Technical Support to top–tier customers
  • Provide tailored troubleshooting, configuration guidance, and best practices
  • Manage support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, and resolved with timely follow–ups with thorough documentation of all the troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system
  • Conduct multi–vendor troubleshooting on complex customer engagements and build positive customer experience by working closely with Account, Sales, and Marketing teams
  • Utilize fault isolation and root cause analysis skills to provide post–sales technical support, configuration, troubleshooting, and standard methodologies to customers
  • Be the subject matter expert on core technologies of the Palo Alto Networks product line
  • Identify product defects (code, environment) via lab replication using network simulation, lab automation, performance testing, and validation tools
  • File bug reports with the engineering team and develop test plans and best practices with Quality Assurance teams to improve overall software and hardware quality per release cycle
  • Facilitate the hiring and onboarding process with technical screens, train new hires on technical and soft skills, and enable process and tools knowledge for readiness
  • Author Technical Support Bulletins and technical documentation in the Knowledge Base for training materials, marketing collateral, manuals, and problem–solving guides
  • Travel to customer sites in the event of a critical situation to expedite resolution as required

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience
  • Advanced troubleshooting and debugging knowledge on LAN/WAN Technologies (TCP, UDP, SNMP, IPv6, VLSM, CIDR, and NAT – Static, Dynamic NAT, and PAT); Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL; Routing protocols (e.g BGP, OSPF, EIGRP); Authentication Protocols (LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, certificates, tokens, CAC cards etc); Virtualization experience (AWS, Azure, VMWare, OpenStack)
  • Experience working with Firewall Central Management Systems
  • Willing to work flexible and varying shift times including weekends and evenings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Windows and MAC OS (Debugging, Editing Registries, Plist, etc.)
  • Experience in Zero Trust Network Access solutions – AnyConnect, FortiClient, Cloudflare Access, Citrix Gateway, Zscaler Private Access, Cato SASE Cloud, Appgate SDP, Palo Alto Prisma Access
  • Multi–Vendor Exposure – Cisco Advanced Security Appliances, Palo Alto Next–Generation Firewalls, Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint Firewalls, and Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention Systems

  • Monitor Customer Communications – Actively monitor channels like emails, ticket systems, and Zoom to quickly identify and prioritize cybersecurity inquiries, ensuring prompt and attentive customer service

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years in SOC, IR, Hunting or MDR teams, skilled in EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and firewalls – Must understand attack trends and excel in threat detection
  • Technical Skills – Proficiency in EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and firewalls is essential
  • Communication – Must have excellent communication skills, able to clarify technical concepts and collaborate effectively, with a strong customer–first orientation

  • A strong background in SQL or similar is preferred
