  • Design and implement key modules on our next-generation Deep learning-based AIOps security platform as part of Cloud management
  • Develop architectures that are inherently secure, robust, scalable, modular, API-centric
  • Participate in the organizational objective of end-to-end services health and customer experience
  • Participate & champion a work culture that inspires individual decision-making and innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Expertise with one or more of the following is a must - Java (required), Python, Cloud services, Data platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent military experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing features - design, algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with large-scale cluster management systems like Kubernetes and Mesos is desirable, micro services, public cloud providers
  • Previous experience building and running high-scale geographically distributed always-on systems
  • Demonstrated ownership of solutions for scalable Observability/Visibility, CI/CD, Cloud Infrastructure, Domain Controllers and Automated security solutions covering several dozen micro services running on thousands of instances and containers
  • A good mix of Unix toolchain and development experience in a combination of native, managed, and scripting programming languages
  • Able to weigh several, often conflicting constraints, and make quick decisions in a dynamic and quickly-growing company
  • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills

The Team

Drawing on the near real-time data collected through PAN-OS device telemetry, our industry-leading next-generation insights product (AIOps for NGFW) gives large cybersecurity operators a force multiplier that provides visibility into the health of their next-generation-firewall (NGFW) devices. It enables early detection of issues at various levels of the stack via advanced time-series forecasting and anomaly detection using novel deep-learning techniques. Our goal is to be able to prevent service-impacting issues in critical security infrastructure that operates 24/7/365 with zero false positives and zero false negatives.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $104,000/yr to $169,500/yr.   • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured software test plans that cover all possible test cases to verify feature functionality for customer use cases
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
  • Develop tools and infrastructure to improve quality and efficiency of testing
  • Contribute towards improving existing software test automation frameworks to support missing functionalities needed for new software features
  • Design and execute automation scripts for all test cases
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities - Isolate issues found during testing and verify bug fixes once they are resolved - Reproduce and debug issues found during and after software release
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate software testing activities to ensure that feature deliverables meet release deadlines
  • Participate in a high paced work environment, with short release cycles.
  • Take ownership and collaborate with cross-functional product management, development and SDET teams in a fast paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in writing test plans and test cases, strong knowledge of SDET methodologies, tools and procedures
  • Strong programming and/or scripting skills
  • Experience in developing test automation of RestAPIs using Python/Pytest is required
  • Ability to develop/design tools, libraries, infrastructure, automation framework to improve the quality and efficiency of testing
  • UI automation/testing experience using Selenium/Javascript
  • Experience in building and maintaining Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies such Aws/Azure/GCP
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • BS or MS in computer engineering or related technical field and a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Software Developer/SDET/Software Test Engineer or equivalent military experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Linux and BASH desired
  • Experience testing Cloud Management platforms is highly desirable
  • Experience with TCP/IP Networking and Network Security is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Active Directories, Cloud Identity Providers is highly desirable
  • Experience with Esxi Virtualization and Container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker is a plus
  • Knowledge of MongoDB or other database technologies is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environments learning new technologies is a plus

  • Renew existing customer and expand business within your territory
  • Achieve ACV sales quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Present regular/accurate forecasting for review
  • Track and report on all opportunities, pipeline, and bookings to provide forecast reports to region management
  • Engage with the local Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, and Google) sales programs and joint activities
  • Develop, share and implement standard methodologies and account strategies to increase our sales penetration of Cloud Security into our top accounts
  • Engage with customers to identify and progress opportunities whilst delivering subject matter expertise on Cloud & Cloud Native Security solutions
  • Qualify and progress leads and opportunities through the sales cycle to closure
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with channel partners
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, DevOps & Cloud Native technologies as well as the competitive position of the company
  • Conduct consistent training and communications for the sales and channel teams as well as joint engagement within the wider organization
  • Contribute to the larger Palo Alto Network’s Cloud & Cloud Native strategy by providing regional specific intelligence and reporting
  • Apply subject matter expertise in training, QBRs, enablement, and other engagement activities
  • Gather “Voice of Customer” and competitive intelligence and share with theater and global Cloud organization
  • Help build and project Palo Alto Networks position as the number one enterprise cloud security company

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience exceeding sales quota as a Major/Strategic or Large Account Manager for a multinational company
  • Sales excellence - ability to demonstrate planning, strategy, qualification and execution
  • Deep understanding of Cybersecurity space required
  • Prior experience selling SAAS or Cloud solutions
  • Excellent communication skills including strong verbal and written skills and proven presentation skills being able to articulate complex topics
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Public Cloud Security space preferred
