Security Engineering is a dynamic department within our Infrastructure Security business group that defines, develops, and sells Akamai's Infrastructure Security products. Our team works with groups across Akamai as well as many external customers/partners. Our division consists of business development, engineering, product management and support personnel.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $106,600 - $221,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of an annual bonus or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). We are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Threat Detection Engineer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our detection capabilities through integrated threat research and intelligence-driven insights.
