• Pull and create reports necessary to carry out the functions of the team and for senior leadership, as requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment
• Communicate and embody the culture and mission of the company
• Lead and mentor the team on performance, production and day-to-day tasks
• Oversee the analysis of the system and other event logs to detect nefarious activity
• Build documentation of existing processes and exceptions based on audit findings
• Oversee the network and application security assessments
• Work with senior leadership on risk management efforts

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years in a technical IT security role
• 2 years of experience in management, leadership and administration
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Global Information Assurance Certification, GIAC Security Essentials or other security certifications
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Solid understanding of IT constructs, such as servers, networking, operating systems, development, storage and cloud technologies
• Solid understanding of information security constructs, such as encryption, identity and access, risk analysis, threat hunting, vulnerability management, data loss prevention, intrusion detection/prevention systems, governance, exploitations and threat landscapes
