About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our Falcon Complete Labs team. As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of a multitude of purpose-built applications through our CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.

Development will take place in both our commercial, and GovCloud environments. You will work closely with our Falcon Complete teams to optimize our infrastructure, automate processes, and enhance the reliability and scalability of our systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, web application development, API development, proficiency in CI/CD pipeline management, and experience with Python development. Knowledge of Flask, FastAPI, Chrome extension development, and Golang is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable applications through our CI/CD pipelines to automate Falcon Complete processes.
  • Collaborate with fellow developers to integrate CI/CD practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our systems.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure resources to support development and production environments.
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Enhance security measures and implement best practices for infrastructure and application security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, infrastructure, deployments, and performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve our processes.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must hold US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with web frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or Blue Ocean.
  • Some familiarity with the Golang programming language and its ecosystem.
  • Some experience in developing Chrome extensions or similar browser extensions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certification in DevOps or relevant technologies.
  • Experience with building and maintaining highly available and scalable systems.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of systems and applications.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $135,000 - $210,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
