NOTE: U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role

Responsibilities

  • Work with Software Engineering and Infrastructure teams to design, implement, and deploy end-to-end monitoring solutions.
  • Manage the deployment of patches, upgrades, and administrative tools/utilities.
  • Monitor applications & services, participate in on-call rotations, and address issues while developing strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Troubleshoot problems, resolve issues, and communicate solutions.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a related role within a SaaS organization
  • Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Go) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
  • High-level understanding of networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting, and Load Balancing.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work after hours/weekends for application releases and deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous NOC/SRE on-call experience.
  • Understanding of SRE basics, including Golden signals.
  • Experience with CI/CD and automation framework development.
