Responsibilities
- Work with Software Engineering and Infrastructure teams to design, implement, and deploy end-to-end monitoring solutions.
- Manage the deployment of patches, upgrades, and administrative tools/utilities.
- Monitor applications & services, participate in on-call rotations, and address issues while developing strategies to prevent future incidents.
- Troubleshoot problems, resolve issues, and communicate solutions.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a related role within a SaaS organization
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Go) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
- High-level understanding of networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting, and Load Balancing.
- Willingness and flexibility to work after hours/weekends for application releases and deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous NOC/SRE on-call experience.
- Understanding of SRE basics, including Golden signals.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation framework development.
