• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of legal documents and contracts relating to commercial, branding, marketing and advertising, employment as well as corporate and intra-group matters.
• Working with the business to provide relevant and accurate legal advice on a range of commercial areas, as well as marketing, intellectual property, privacy and data protection matters.
• Collaborating with other departments within the organization, such as finance, payments, operations and compliance, to ensure legal compliance in all aspects of the company's operations.
• Advising stakeholders on the mitigation of legal and regulatory risks in all jurisdictions the company operates from.
• Creating and implementing operational policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization and communicating those changes to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Assisting in corporate governance matters, including management meetings, filings and compliance with corporate formalities.
• Collaborating with external consultants on jurisdiction-specific matters, including litigation, enforcement and regulatory matters.
• Investigating and responding to legal claims and disputes.
• Promoting yourself as an ambassador for legal services within the business.
• Working closely with the General Counsel and supporting the general administration of the legal team.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the bar association of the state in which you are located.
• Minimum 4 years’ PQE with training from a reputable law firm or in-house team and a strong background in commercial law and contract negotiation.
• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial contracts.
• A proactive self-starter who can manage their own workload and timetable and efficiently handle competing priorities.
• An effective communicator with a good command of English.
• The ability and willingness to be involved and take the lead in different projects.
• Ability to adopt a commercial approach and to understand the operations of the business.
• Excellent analytical skills and the capability to identify legal risks and provide risk analysis on different and novel areas.
• A strong team player and leader with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and to work for the success of the wider business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data protection and privacy matters will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of any other language will be considered an asset.
