Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst with demonstrated experience planning, documenting, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer network systems and information.

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead the team responsible for IA posture.
  • Assess system vulnerabilities, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems with staff.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures carried out.
  • Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL) related technologies and systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) support.
  • Serve as a lead for the team responsible for information assurance posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard files and vital electronic infrastructure.
  • Lead the development of documentation to support certification of compliance to standards.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and operational.
  • Assist in training staff on new technologies.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Master's Degree and 10 years experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 14 years experience
  • At least 5 years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity.
  • At least 5 years of the experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, test design, test execution, and implementation of security mechanisms.
  • Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).
  • Able to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
