Responsibilities

  • Management and leadership of a small team of SFDC professionals - including setting/managing performance goals for the team and individuals, building talent retention strategies, recruitment of new members, and coaching/mentoring the team
  • Work with business stakeholders, program managers and the CRM team to stay aligned with business processes and the technology supporting them
  • Lead the CRM team in cross functional projects and enhancements of visibility and analysis
  • Provide strategic direction in solution design and troubleshooting.
  • Review and oversee releases to production
  • Hands on customization of Salesforce.com including fields, page layouts, flows, validation rules, formula fields, auto-assignment rules, etc.
  • Maintain security such as user profiles, user roles, sharing rules, permission sets, field level security, groups, list view rights and audit user access reviews
  • The design, development and architecture experience of the candidate should include demonstrated hands-on project implementation within SFDC

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience as an admin or developer in an enterprise environment
  • 2+ years of experience as a Manager of a global Salesforce team.
  • The ability to interface well with business users, at all levels, and be able to effectively translate business requirements into systems solutions
  • Exceptional leadership/coaching experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment working with both offshore and onshore third-party resources
  • A strong background in declarative configuration and customization of Salesforce.com Sales and Services Clouds
  • Demonstrated ability working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expertise with SDLC process, Project Management and Release Management and possess knowledge of project management and release management tools
  • The ability to build and follow rigid communication plans and track closely the status of each project/release to be delivered to stakeholders
  • Demonstrable analytical reasoning or quantitative analysis
  • Ability to translate customer/business requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing high paced environment where priorities change
  • Bachelor's degree in CS (or related) or equivalent work experience
  • Able to work in a hybrid/on-site capacity at our headquarters in Columbia MD

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience - PMP Certification is highly desired
  • Administrator and/or Cloud Consultant (Sales or Service) certification
  • Experience with RDBMS & Data Integration tools such as Mulesoft

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
