Summary

Sentinel is seeking a Senior Network and Security Engineer for our deployment team. This individual will be a full time employee of Sentinel Technologies and will get to work with various network and security-focused technologies to design, implement, and configure secure network solutions for mid to enterprise-level client environments. In addition to a strong technical background, structured & organized approach, this role requires excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position located in Tempe, Arizona with travel throughout the state of Arizona.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet solutions
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing large scale network security solutions
  • Experience with Cisco Security products such as FDT, FMC, AMP, Umbrella
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between locations and the transportation of equipment
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNP Certification or equivalent manufacture certification or higher is preferred
  • Experience in performing migrations and upgrades on various platforms is a plus
  • Familiar implementing wireless networks with Cisco wireless LAN controllers using both traditional centralized deployments as well as converged access is a plus
  • Cisco ACI and SD WAN experience is a plus
