TRISTAR is seeking several Information Security Specialist II for our government customer in Bloomington, IN

Responsibilities

Perform periodic system security scans using ACAS scans
Verify STIG compliance
Conduct quarterly reviews
Ensure that changes to the hardware, software, or firmware of the software baseline are coordinated with the ISSM/ISSO
Ensure security patches are installed appropriately

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

At least 3 yrs experience performing ACAS scans and STIG compliance using tools like SCAP
Experience working with physical IT equipment, IE servers, routers, switches, etc.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
MUST be a US Citizen
Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications:

System Administration background and knowledge preferred

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other Information Technology related fields
