Information Security Director opportunity to lead enterprise security strategy and operations. This role involves overseeing a dedicated team, ensuring the protection of sensitive data, and driving compliance with client, regulatory, and industry standards. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership and clients, you will develop and implement security policies, respond to incidents, and foster a culture of risk awareness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide security strategies, programs, and policies.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing information security team.
- Conduct risk assessments and lead the firm’s response to security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001/2, and privacy laws.
- Serve as a liaison to clients for audits, RFPs, and security-related concerns.
- Oversee security infrastructure, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide risk reviews for system changes and vendor solutions.
- Lead security awareness and training initiatives across the organization.
Job Requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience managing information security in complex environments
- Proven leadership and strategic planning skills
- Deep expertise in networking, databases, systems operations, and security technologies
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and clients
Preferred qualifications
- CISSP certification
