Position Summary

HackerOne is looking for a Director, Digital Marketing to lead digital strategy, which comprises SEO, SEM, paid social media, programmatic display, ABM, web strategy, web reporting and conversion rate optimization. This position reports to our VP of Growth Marketing and is located remotely in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Define, manage, and implement our overall digital demand strategy to optimize the digital front door to HackerOne for all target audiences.
  • Create strategies for digital lifecycle management for both prospects and customers.
  • Direct the work of paid search, paid social, sponsorships, and account-based advertising programs, maximizing return on marketing spend and opportunity creation by region and segment.
  • Recommend new website content, working with product, content, and creative personnel to implement solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve company goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage a team of digital service agencies to assist with digital marketing execution.
  • Develop and build digital marketing strategies, inclusive of the website direction, SEO/keywords and the online customer journey.
  • Partner with Regional Marketing and Sales Development on digital campaign timing for inbound and outbound strategies.
  • Provide requirements for standardized marketing reporting and dashboards in partnership with Marketing Operations and present performance to the marketing department and stakeholders throughout the company.
  • Triage incoming and strategic projects to best manage workflow for your team and agencies.
  • Continuously monitor advancements in new technologies and industry trends to ensure HackerOne’s digital presence is current and competitive.
  • Oversee and report on the digital budget.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in a Digital Marketing or Web Marketing role
  • 3+ years of enterprise B2B software/SaaS marketing experience targeting enterprise audiences
  • 3+ years of experience hiring and managing a team
  • A background in managing multiple digital marketing domains: SEO, SEM, paid social media, programmatic display, ABM, web strategy, web reporting and conversion rate optimization
  • Experience managing and optimizing budgets
  • Strong project management skills and comfortability working inside a web-based project management tool
  • Experience with Google Marketing products such as Analytics 4, Search Ads, Search Console, Tag Manager
  • Hands-on experience with a CMS platform such as Drupal, Sitecore, Episerver/Optimizely, Concrete5
  • Hands-on experience with Web optimization/measurement tools such as Optimizely, VWO, Hotjar, Crazyegg, Unbounce, Google Optimize, Lucky Orange
  • Proven experience managing agencies to achieve traffic, conversion, lead, and digital pipeline goals
  • Strong technical marketing and advanced digital analytics skills
  • Must be based remotely in the United States. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

Tier A: $172,000 - $220,000

Tier B: $151,200 - $194,000

Tier C: $146,200 - $187,750
