We are seeking a Cybersecurity Principal Consultant to help formalize solution offerings, develop new business and lead key engagements where safeguarding digital infrastructure, data, and applications plays a central role toward enabling a client’s business and outcomes. You will bring a proven track record in building trusted client relationships, delivery oversight and demonstrated thought leadership involving Cybersecurity solutions. As a Cybersecurity consultant, you will help set strategic direction, lead and support sales efforts, deliver solutions and assist with operational aspects for our growing Cybersecurity practice.

Along the way, you will collaborate with Nortal leaders and global team members across sales, marketing and capability groups who are making a positive impact on our firm, clients and communities. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers in-person is essential for success in this position. As part of the North American team, travel or in-person work may be required depending on your client engagements or internal meetings/events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Cybersecurity capabilities and solutioning for North America, ensuring these are tailored to client needs as well as being scalable and robust.
  • Work closely with North American sales, marketing and capability teams to develop differentiated Cybersecurity offerings and solutions that address client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Nortal’s global Cybersecurity teams in offering development, marketing, and business development.
  • Engage in business development activities in North America, including forming partnerships, alliances and driving client meetings and industry events.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of Cybersecurity and incorporate relevant innovations into the company's offerings for North America.
  • Contribute to Cybersecurity Consulting knowledge, skills and competencies through thought leadership, delivery templates and best practices.
  • Provide oversight and governance of sold and managed engagements while driving engagement delivery quality assurance with North American clients.
  • Participate in internal Cybersecurity strategic initiatives at Nortal regional and global levels.
  • Participate in delivery of engagements with billable utilization target of 50%.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant Cybersecurity consulting experience helping clients achieve their business outcomes through solutions that protect sensitive data and safeguard privacy.
  • Proven subject matter expertise in Cybersecurity Consulting with a successful track record of excellent client service delivery involving modern information security solutions.
  • Comfort and depth in various Cybersecurity technologies, including cyber incident resilience and readiness, zero trust enterprise and operational technology security.
  • Experience driving sales pursuits within a Cybersecurity consulting environment, with direct experience in large program design and solution management.
  • Expertise and strategic insight to solve complex business and customer problems through transformational initiatives and executive leadership.
  • Have worked as an effective leader across multiple industries and business areas.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent critical thinking, negotiation, conflict management and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of client/employee satisfaction.
  • Self-directed, creative problem solver who wants to grow in a flexible, collaborative culture.
  • Earned a B.A. or B.S. degree, MBA encouraged.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

The base salary range for this role is between $180k and $215k. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
