The Cybersecurity Operations organization’s objective is to ensure that JPMC is able to effectively detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats against our technology infrastructure. The Cybersecurity Operations Support team will work closely with all groups within Cybersecurity Operation to provide guidance, oversight, and establish consistency across the program while maintaining standards that align with the firm. Areas supported include: supplier management, reporting, audit preparedness, resiliency, access & procedural support, and risk & controls.  Candidate must maintain a strong and consistent control environment that promotes early operational risk identification, assessment, and mitigation by monitoring and evaluating controls to mitigate operational risk.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Supplier Oversight efforts globally across Cybersecurity Operation teams to ensure firms Third Party Oversight (TPO) guidance is adhered to
  • Support supplier oversight functions such as onboarding, contract engagements, invoice processing, purchase requests, and NDA requests
  • Identify and champion changes needed to Supplier relationships
  • Troubleshooting escalations from Suppliers or internal partners to resolve discrepancies
  • Liaison between Cybersecurity Operations and key partners and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity and Risk Control frameworks and their adoption in evaluating supplier management and third party risk domain
  • Develop a portfolio management strategy, by assessing inventory for efficiency and reduction opportunities
  • Self-education on emerging threats and rapidly changing risk environment to improve supplier risk assessment process
  • Uphold firmwide Resiliency Program efforts
  • Understanding and configuring systems used by teams within Cybersecurity Operations
  • Support access control protocol for all Cybersecurity Operations teams
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to deliver increasing operational efficiency within the processes
  • Maintain controls and validation milestones established by the team

Job Requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in Supplier Management, Operations, Oversight & Controls, Finance, Risk, Compliance, or Audit activities preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Technology controls with emphasis on Risk and Cybersecurity controls a plus
  • Clear understanding of technology risk acumen
  • Past experience in developing, executing or enhancing a supplier and risk management program preferred
  • Experience in overseeing successfully short term objectives and long range projects with interim and measurable goals
  • Experience interacting with senior executives
  • Proven track record in building good working relationships across global organizations and influencing change
  • Excellent business judgment, particularly the ability to proactively monitor the program to identify and address issues early, performing root cause analysis to develop long term solutions
  • Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with senior management and peers
  • Strong analytical, communication, research, objective decision making and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify gaps and manage change to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent technical experience
