Summary:

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Cybersecurity Information Technology Specialist to work in our Information Technology department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls, Idaho facility with every other Friday off. Remote or Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.

You will report to the Director of Cybersecurity. You will ensure efficient data call management and adherence to cybersecurity standards and compliance mandates along with maintaining strong, secure documentation and data practices.

Responsibilities

  • Be the document management subject matter expert for Cybersecurity.
  • Create and manage the document management structures, providing guidance and training to Cybersecurity employees on the nuances of INL’s document management protocols.
  • Ensure organization of all documentation and records, are in compliance with regulatory and documentation standards.
  • Manage the lifecycle of documents, including creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving.
  • Lead the development and facilitation of the Cybersecurity communications program, ensuring consistent and comprehensive updates and reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the creation, curation, and dissemination of Cybersecurity documentation, ensuring accurate and effective communication.
  • Be the contact and authority for data call activities within Cybersecurity, ensuring communication, coordination, facilitation, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Identify and engage with responsible parties and collaborate with various departments to collect necessary data and compile comprehensive responses.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Level 2 - Bachelor’s and 2 years of experience or a Master’s Degree
  • Level 3 - Bachelor’s and 5 years of experience or a Master’s and 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in information technology, cybersecurity communications, or a similar role.
  • Understand complex principles and communicate technical topics in simple terms.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

  • Job Information:

  • The pay range for this position is Level 2 ($63,528 - $130,284 / Level 3 ($75,804 - $155,496). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
