Summary and company overview

Job Summary:

Manages software and systems engineering and software systems research to develop new capabilities, ensuring cybersecurity is fully integrated. Manages comprehensive technology research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities in cyberspace systems. Leads cross-functional teams to develop technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and/or develop appropriate solutions technology.
  • Integrates and aligns cybersecurity system configurations to ensure system performance meets documented requirements.
  • Conducts system engineering and research to develop new solutions that ensure cybersecurity controls are fully integrated into the enterprise to support business goals.
  • Designs hardware, operating systems, and software applications to adequately address cybersecurity requirements.
  • Oversees and manages authorized penetration testing on enterprise assets.
  • Provides input for financial management including AOP, budget management, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation and financial forecasting.
  • Responsible for the management of employees, contractors and other staff as well as resources to achieve near-term and strategic goals.
  • Collaborates on work plan development, produces performance management documentation and identifies professional development and training for the manager and direct reports.
  • Mentors, coaches and develops less experienced team members.
  • Develop strong relationships to deliver business value using relevant Business Relationship Management practices.

Job Requirements

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of cybersecurity work experience is required.
  • 2 years of experience with Cloud technology and concepts preferred.
