Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans, ensuring all configurations comply with cybersecurity standards.
  • Conduct regular configuration audits and QA checks to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into configuration management processes.
  • Document and report on configuration management activities, including baselines, changes, and audits.
  • Lead efforts to improve QA processes and implement best practices for cybersecurity and CM.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on CM and QA practices.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with NAS, Enterprise Architecture, and FAA's AMS.
  • Proven experience conducting configuration audits and QA checks.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using configuration management tools and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all configurations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to cybersecurity in the Federal Government.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., Security+, CISSP) and/or configuration management (e.g. Configuration Management Professional (CMP), Project Management Professional (PMP)).
  • Experience with FAA programs and systems.
  • Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies.

Work Requirements:

  • Work Hours: Standard business hours, with flexibility as needed.
  • Travel: 0 - 20%

Physical requirements:

  • Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal and labs.

  • Mobility: Ability to move around the office environment to access computer hardware, networking equipment, and server rooms.

  • Dexterity: Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate computer equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform tasks requiring precision.

  • Background check: Must be able to pass government public trust investigation, Active Secret Clearance.

Compensation (Pay Bands)

Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40 hour/week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of LSTs total compensation package for employees. ** In compliance with local laws, LS Technologies presents this reasonable compensation range as a guideline for roles in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington D.C.
