Job Summary:

Consortium Networks is the trusted Cyber Concierge focused on empowering clients to enhance their cybersecurity capabilities. We are seeking an experienced Account Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and implementing effective strategies for both new and existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of selling complex cybersecurity solutions to large organizations, with a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and common security challenges faced by enterprises. You will work closely with clients to understand their risk profile, identify their unique security needs, present tailored solutions, and collaborate with our solutions team to ensure successful architecture, integration, and optimization of leading cybersecurity technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned territories or accounts.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within enterprise accounts by conducting thorough research and understanding client needs.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to position our professional services and industry-leading cybersecurity technologies as solutions to their security challenges.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose tailored solutions that address client requirements and lead to successful integrations of leading cybersecurity technologies.
  • Drive sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiations, close, and contract signing.
  • Lead and participate in client presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to showcase the value of our services and partner technologies.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide clients with expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, including regular updates on pipeline development and revenue projections.

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities, forecast sales projections, and track key performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry conferences, and participate in sales meetings.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate complex cybersecurity solutions to diverse audiences.

Additional commentary

Pay Transparency:

Consortium Networks is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role for individuals who reside and work in certain states and locales. The compensation range considers a wide range of factors which are considered in making compensation decisions including skills, experience, education, and location. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $75,000-100,000 plus commission plan.
