You Have:

  • Experience with implementing red team assessment methods, tools, and techniques
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in Information Technology or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • Linux Computing Environment (CE) Certification
  • Windows Computing Environment (CE) Certification
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) or GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) Certification
  • DoD Approved 8570 Information Assurance Technician Level III (IAT-III) Certification, including CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
  • Completion of the Red Team Apprentice or Offensive Methodology Analysis, Red Team Operations

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, and Kali Linux
  • Python Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.   • The Cybersecurity Analyst’s role is to provide expertise for Cyber Threat management activities. This person will interact with the information technology teams to respond to incidents, and drive security initiatives. In this role, the ideal candidate will also provide general advice and guidance on topics related to information security, threat management, security monitoring, and incident response.
  • Provide support for alert triage and analysis for security threats and risks alerting from security solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify attack vectors and provide mitigation recommendations to prevent future attacks.
  • Serve as an escalation point and subject matter expert during incident investigations.
  • Develop detections for identified threats and 0-day exploits.
  • Enhance the maturity of the security posture by creating new use cases, identifying security gaps, and performing continuous assessments of current security capabilities.
  • Experience utilizing Cyber Threat Intelligence to conduct structured and unstructured Threat-hunting.
  • Participate in the creation of enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures) under the direction of IT leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or college diploma in the field of Cybersecurity and 3 years of experience working directly in a Cybersecurity Center, or on a Computer Incident Response Team (CISRT).
  • Proficient with security solutions and platforms (Checkpoint, SIEM, EDR, SOAR, UEBA, SEG, TIP).
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) and Windows 10 Operating System.
  • One or more of the following certifications:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • GIAC Information Security Fundamentals
  • Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or college diploma in the field of Cybersecurity and 5 years of experience working with Checkpoint, Cisco, and Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting network-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols.
  • Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP certification a plus.

TRISTAR is seeking several Information Security Specialist II for our government customer in Bloomington, IN<br>- The Information Security Specialist II will maintain awareness of emerging cyber threat intelligence and trends, including, but not limited to, common vulnerabilities and exposures, indicators of compromise, zero-day attacks, social engineering campaigns, and other hacking techniques

  • Respond to all system and/or network security incident
  • Develop, update, and maintain relevant technical documentation and guidance
  • Coordinate relevant duties with Systems Administrators
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical and operational problems
  • Perform network administration tasks such as adding/configuring network devices, managing routers, switches
  • Additionally managing routers, switches, VPNs, VLANs, network segmentation
  • Evaluating network security controls and implementing improvements
  • Deploying new firewalls, switches, network devices and connections

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security
  • 2+ years of recent network administration expertise
  • 2+ years of networking of multi-site WAN and LAN environment
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration and secure routing, and firewall protocols.
  • Candidate should have significant (5+ years) troubleshooting experience with networks, latency, connectivity problems, etc.
  • Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Linux and network troubleshooting support
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies and WAN communications including TCP/IP (routing and subnetting)
  • MUST be a US Citizen
  • Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other Information Technology related fields
