We are hiring for an IT Security Administrator to join our team in Westminster, CO. This role is hybrid and requires 3 days in-office and 2 days from home.

The IT Security Administrator will join a well-rounded, creative, and inspired IT Security Team committed to securing the operational capabilities of our enterprise by deploying robust security measures and implementing standards and controls that span both the commercial and US Government businesses. At Maxar we take space exploration, humanitarian efforts and protecting the planet seriously. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring security tools, implementing Zero Trust principles, evaluating critical risks, and assisting in the development and implementation of remediation plans. In this role, your focus will be on tools that help maintain and monitor implementation of best practices as they relate to NIST/CMMC compliance and you will be a critical resource ensuring the security and integrity of Maxar’s amazing mission.

In support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all of our U.S. job postings. We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. To accommodate all locations, we have listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the target range for a specific location during the recruiting discussion. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$78,000.00 - $166,000.00 annually.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field plus five years of progressive experience in cyber security required.
Required skills: 3 years with: network protocols and topologies; proxies, Firewall, packet analyzers; Incident response; monitor and administer endpoint detection and response; Windows administration; Experience must include: at least 2 major security vendors; Python/scripting; email security; SIEM; security controls and threat protection in cloud and hybrid; cyber threat intelligence.
Education or experience: Linux/UNIX; Threat and Vulnerability Management, Security standards/controls (NIST, HIPAA).
Preferred qualifications:
May work remote with ability to commute to Chicago office.

The Senior IT Operations Specialist ensures the delivery of high-quality services to end users, with a focus and emphasis in the areas of Identity and Access Management (IAAM), Qualified Access Requests (QAR), CyberArk, and SailPoint in a highly regulated GxP environment. The specialist is responsible for ensuring that value is achieved as anticipated from the outsourced relationships under management, typically within a domain or service area. To ensure that the overall services as expressed in the Statement of Work and related exhibits, and the service levels for outsourced services/functions are maintained and continually improved, and that any problems with the day-to-day delivery of services provided by the Service Provider are minimized.
