  • Work with Product Line Leaders to gather and analyze requirements for new cybersecurity products
  • Assess product intake submissions, prioritize projects based on business value, market demand, and resource availability
  • Develop and maintain detailed NPI roadmaps, outlining timelines, milestones, and deliverables for new product launches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development activities with the overall NPI strategy
  • Partner with IT teams to enable and integrate systems related to CPQ, Order Management & Fulfillment, Licensing, and Product Activation
  • Ensure that IT systems and processes support the successful launch of new cybersecurity products
  • Oversee the NPI process, ensuring that projects progress according to plan and identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market for new products
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes
  • Act as the primary point of contact for NPI-related communications, both within the IT department and with external stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Product teams, IT, and other relevant parties
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics in the cybersecurity sector
  • Apply industry knowledge to ensure that new products are aligned with market needs and competitive positioning
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions to optimize the NPI process
  • Collect and analyze feedback to drive continuous improvement in NPI practices and performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent military experience required
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or project management, with a focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) in the cybersecurity industry or a related technology field
  • Experience managing complex projects involving IT systems integration and cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity products, including hardware, software, and cloud/SaaS solutions
  • Experience with IT systems such as CPQ, Order Management & Fulfillment, Licensing, and Product Activation
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with various stakeholders
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving project goals and delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, etc.) preferred
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving

The Team

To stay ahead of the curve, it’s critical to know where the curve is, and how to anticipate the changes we’re facing. For the fastest growing cybersecurity company, the curve is the evolution of cyberattacks and the products and services that proactively address them. Our Product Management Team helps us do just that.

This team provides the behind-the-scenes support for our products by being a source of information for our systems engineers, staying on top of the environment we sell in, and helping to implement technical solutions based on our client’s feedback and needs. As threats and technology evolve, we stay ahead to accomplish our mission.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $164000 - $266000/YR.   • Discover and create proof of concepts for new security vulnerabilities in Palo Alto Networks products and cloud offerings
  • Advance the state of the art in security research and bug hunting by developing novel methods for vulnerability discovery
  • Evaluate the security of Palo Alto Networks products’ code and architecture. Propose changes to improve their security posture
  • Perform root-cause analysis of vulnerabilities and work closely with product teams to develop and review secure solutions
  • Serve as a product security subject-matter expert when collaborating with Palo Alto Networks leadership and industry partners

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record of discovering and exploiting impactful vulnerabilities in software (e.g. CVEs, bug bounties, talks)
  • Expert in secure programming, penetration testing, and security architecture in cloud native environments (e.g. GCP, AWS)
  • Strong familiarity with cloud security, Linux, low-level operating system concepts, and networking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferably demonstrated through technical blogs, write-ups, and talks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing SAST rules and fuzzing/instrumenting complex applications to discover vulnerabilities is a plus
  • Participation in Capture the Flag (CTF) events, a local OWASP chapter, or similar security-focused communities is a plus
  • BS or MS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, related to computer security, application security, information security, network security, or cryptography or equivalent military experience is preferred

  • You will be responsible for Innovation and Development of GlobalProtect client product on multiple platforms
  • You will work with product management to develop and define roadmaps
  • You will apply your knowledge to create system architectures and low-level designs
  • Utilize your programming skills for highly efficient and robust implementations
  • Interact with quality assurance and field support teams in debugging, troubleshooting, replicating, and resolving issues found in GlobalProtect software
  • Interview, mentor and coach new team members

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming language
  • Proficiency in systems programming on Windows or Mac
  • You are a team player with can-do attitude to tackle difficult problems and you have the hunger to learn and grow horizontally
  • You have high energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You enjoy collaboration and communication with multiple teams
