Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Identity Management Architect to support our Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) practice. This position will be part of our Center of Excellence and work directly with our Senior Architects and Practice Manager to assess IAM policies and procedures, document and develop overall IAM strategy, identify and address internal process or access control issues, coordinate IAM-related communications to the Simeio community, and provide standards and guidelines to implement/deploy IGA solutions that facilitate business operations.

At present the services fall under one of the following categories which are delivered via Identity as a Services Solutions (IDAAS):

  • Access Governance
  • Identity Administration
  • Access Management & Federation
  • Security & Risk Intelligence
  • Data Security
  • SailPoint Identity Now implementation and support
  • Configure virtual appliances & create identity profiles
  • Execute role-based provisioning & manager access review
  • Communicate with clients/partners on products & implementations
  • Managing, facilitating and maintaining knowledge repositories of existing and past implementations
  • Creation of LOE based on various deployment scenarios
  • Ability to guide teams in gap discussions on use cases and recognize technical and process gaps in client programs based on best practices, industry process and technical standards plus any regulatory/compliance requirements
  • Ability to assess potential threats and weaknesses in existing processes and procedures
  • Developing a best practice methodology for the governance of the identity lifecycle processes around roles/rules, monitoring access control processes to ensure they are effective, efficient, and in compliance with standards and control objectives
  • Developing and documenting IGA standards and controls and implementing procedures to ensure defined standards and controls are operating effectively
  • Developing support and sustainability procedures for ongoing operations related to Security Operations
  • Create and maintain training and accreditation programs and manage the Simeio training for the Identity Governance practice area.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in Identity and access management with at least 3+ years of professional experience related to Identity and Access Management programs
  • Should have worked in (Workflows, Identity trigger, Access review, Access request, event triggers, password management
  • Should have worked on Access Model (access profile, entitlements, roles and role insights)
  • Should have worked on Identity AI, Search functionality, Segregation of duties
  • Should have experience with sound HR systems - Workday, Oracle fusion, SAP success factor etc.
  • Should have experience in Active Directory and ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
  • Should have experience with the following programming languages: Java, BeanShell
  • Knowledge of directory servers (Oracle, TDS, AD, LDAP, etc.)
  • Implementation experience with SailPoint product suite (IIQ, ISC)
  • Technical understanding of identity governance and identity administration skills
  • Understanding of authorization/access control models. Practical/business understanding of role and rule-based access control models (how, why, and when to use)
  • Professional designations or certification related to cyber-security, audit information systems, or IT security desirable

  • Manage a portfolio of federal, DOD, and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) customer accounts to achieve long-term success and drive continued adoption of our cybersecurity solution.
  • Develop strong interpersonal skills to build long-standing relationships with customers, understanding their unique cybersecurity requirements and tailoring our offerings to their needs.
  • Act as a customer advocate and first-line resource, immediately responding to operational or technical inquiries and relaying customer feedback to our internal teams to help steer the evolution of our product and services.
  • Guide clients through the onboarding process and provide strategic guidance on how to extract maximum value from all Horizon3.ai products offerings.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and potential challenges, suggesting solutions that improve their experience and enhance their cybersecurity posture.
  • Monitor customer usage trends and KPIs to identify risks and expansion opportunities to secure timely renewals.
  • Conduct customer success check-ins, pentest reviews, business reviews, renewal syncs, and technical troubleshooting sessions at both regularly scheduled and ad-hoc cadences.
  • Effectively interact with customers, cross-functional teams, and third-party vendors
  • Develop a deep understanding of Horizon3.ai suite of product offerings, becoming a trusted adviser on all key features and benefits.
  • Maintain strategic awareness of novel and evolving cybersecurity trends and threats.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in federal or DOD customer-facing roles such as Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services within a SaaS or cybersecurity environment.
  • Understanding of government IT systems, architecture, and networking.
  • Working knowledge of federal and DOD cybersecurity regulations regarding information handling and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify user trends and discern customer needs.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Customer Success software (e.g., Gainsight, ClientSuccess).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, establishing successful customer-focused initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, resolve them quickly, and prevent them from reoccurring.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related Military Occupational Skill (MOS) + direct work experience may substitute degree requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices and principles; possession of relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP, OSCP) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of DIB complex, associated risks, and solutions.
  • Prior experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) and active/recent clearance is beneficial.

Why are we hiring for this role?

We are looking to further expand our Sales Engineer function in the US, to support our growing sales team. As a Sales Engineer at UpGuard, you will be the central technical point of contact for customers progressing through our sales funnel. We’re looking for a driven individual who possesses an inquisitive mind and excellent technical knowledge. By joining the Sales Engineer team in the US, you'll have a critical role in enabling our Account Executives and ensuring our customers have a world-class experience.

  • As part of the Revenue Operations team, your goals will be to build, implement and iterate on processes to support and scale the Sales function to achieve revenue targets
  • You will drive product activation during trials by providing an excellent experience to our customers and ultimately assist the sales team with closing new business by doing the following:
  • Support prospects during trials/proof of concepts (POC) of the platform
  • Identifying prospect pain points and challenges during trials/POCs of the platform while also defining their goals and influencing their requirements
  • Be the technical point of contact for any support queries during the trial process
  • Assist with customer security assessments, RFPs, and business cases as required
  • Work collaboratively with the team to improve the trial/POC experience for our customers by identifying key insights, trends, and areas of improvement in the trial process and developing solutions to mitigate them

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in either a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant or technical customer support role at a B2B SaaS company
  • A solutions-driven problem solver who is innately curious and seeks to understand WHYÂ
  • Proven ability to deliver product demonstrations and presentations to customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - this is a customer-facing role and you will be speaking directly to customers as part of the trial process
  • A high degree of technical aptitude and an intrinsic willingness to learn
  • Ability to give and receive feedback - you will collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to drive process improvements

  • Information Technology or Software Engineering degree
